Matt Perrier is a fifth-generation rancher in the Flint Hills of Kansas. Along with his wife, Amy, and parents, Tom & Carolyn, he owns and operates Dalebanks Angus, a registered Angus herd that supplies genetics to leading cattlemen throughout the region.

Prior to returning to his family's ranch in 2004, Matt worked in a variety of roles throughout the beef community. During this time, his favorite task was exchanging ideas and concepts that would improve the business climate for beef producers. 

The Practically Ranching Podcast will strive to make discussions like he witnessed decades ago available to ranchers as they go about their daily lives. Whether horseback or in a tractor cab, these weekly exchanges will give farmers and ranchers something to think about, smile about or act upon as they are completing the essential tasks that help feed the world each day.
